1. What Spiritual and Coaching Education do you have?

Marcia is a graduate of, and an Ordained Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister through the One Spirit Interfaith Seminary Program in New York City. This rigorous 2-year program afforded her a developed understanding, insight, and appreciation of many of the world’s religions; allowing growth on her own spiritual path and giving her the background to enable others Re-Member their own Divinity.

Marcia holds graduate degrees in Education and Leadership from SUNY Cortland. Marcia is trained in Conflict Mediation and served as a Conflict Mediation Advisor.

2. How do you tend to your own Personal Growth and Contemplative Life?

Marcia has dedicated more than 20 years to her own personal growth and spiritual development using the practices of meditation, prayer, peer study groups, consultation with mentors, discussions with Spirit, study of the Tao Te Ching, Conversations with God, and lectio divina (spiritual reading and reflection). Marcia continues to find healing through the use of Accelerated Resolution Therapy and is able to refer clients who desire healing from past trauma to appropriate resources.

3. What is your experience with Coaching?

Marcia founded Beecken of Light in 2015. Since that time, she has taught classes in several modalities of energy work, Reflections on Spirituality, “Chakras for Beginners”, The Way of the Tao, Conversations with God, and many other workshops. She facilitates one’s own healing through intuitive forms of energy work. Marcia also offers spiritual coaching and specializes in helping others Rediscover their Inner Light: The Spark of One’s Own Divinity! Through non-denominational discussion and processes, she offers the opportunity to Re-Member one’s own Personal Connection to Divinity.

As an educator, Marcia served as an Instructional Coach, working with faculty members in creating and meeting goals. Over the years, her coaching skills were honed as a Mentor to educators and Supervising Teacher for over 20 years.

As the owner/practitioner of BoL, Marcia has created BoL’s Signature Transform Your Life program, as well as BoL’s Transform: BEYOND programs geared toward helping clients create a Life they Love. These individual and group programs help participants identify strengths and create goals to shift from a present state of dissatisfaction to fulfillment and joy.

4. What is your Spiritual Philosophy?

As an Ordained Interfaith/Interspiritual minister, Marcia strives to live a life of Spiritual Integrity, embracing LOVE as her driving force; seeking to pull Loving elements and practices from Any and All the world’s religions, while leaving the man-made religious dogma, rules, and politics. Love IS Spirit, pure and simple. When faced with decisions, responses, and actions, Emma uses discernment and asks the question, “What would LOVE do, now?” In following the peaceful feelings that result from the answer to that question, Marcia strives to choose the path of Love every day.

God, Spirit, Beloved, All That Is, Mother/Father God… Marcia believes that whatever name that resonates with you when referring to the Divine is exactly perfect. As a Pantheist, or a believer in Universal Oneness, the God of her understanding lives within ALL of us. As a Soul choosing this incarnation to Re-Member ItSelf, she believes that we are ALL connected.

5. How do you continue to develop your education as a Coach and Minister?

Marcia maintains her ministry through One Spirit Learning Alliance. As an active, registered member of the clergy, she regularly takes classes and seeks the counsel of her OS peers and mentors. Marcia is proud to have studied and developed skills through earning several graduate degrees from a NYS Accredited College and an Official Seminary Program. She encourages you to do your research and check credentials when searching for your guidance. Avoid those who claim ordination through mail order or degrees through unaccredited institutions.
